Constructed at Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation, Fisherman's Bend, Melbourne, Australia for the RAAF as A3-31 and delivered in September 1941 serving with No. 3 Elementary Flying Training School from 13 February 1942 before that EFTS was disbanded in May 1942 and the aircraft transferred to No 11 EFTS at Benalla. SOC and sold privately in March 1946 ending up with pioneer West Australian Aviator, Horrie Miller. Withdrawn from use in 1964, it was initially displayed in Broome before transferring to the museum at Bull Creek.
