Due to traffic restrictions caused by an air traffic control strike European airlines operated heavies not normally seen into Heathrow in 1977. Delivered to SAS as LN-RKB in 1976. Had a runway excursion at JFK on 29 Feb 1984 and ended up in Jamaica Bay. Nobody was injured. To McDonnell-Douglas later in 1984 then converted to a freighter for Federal Express as N311FE in 1985.
