VH-EBE was used to carry cattle from Pakistan to Papua New Guinea, then under Australian rule, for a program to develop a better breed for hot tropical climates. The cattle were not allowed into Australia for biosecurity reasons. Biosecurity also meant the cattle had to be kept on the aircraft from Karachi to Port Moresby.
