This aircraft was damaged beyond repair on 10th January 1989 at East Lavant, near Goodwood, West Sussex, when it made a forced landing after the engine failed to pick-up after a practice engine failure exercise; it was cancelled from the British register as permanently withdrawn from use on 10th February 1989.
