This plane forms a memorial in the centre of Topola to pilot Major Zoran Tomić, who presumably came from this town. Major Tomić was flying J-22 25123 on a combat mission near Novska on September 17, 1991, from which he did not return. It is assumed that he was shot down by enemy fire and killed, RIP.
