The RAAF took delivery of ten A-25As before cancelling an order for 140 more having deciding dive bombing was outmoded. A69-29 was one of those affected by the cancellation and was never delivered to Australia. It was eventually handed to the US Marines . Only one RAAF A-25 entered service and that was for testing. The 10 were handed back to the USAAF in 1945. Photo by: Hans Groenhoff / Smithsonian Institution This photo was added on 18 June 2023, and has since been viewed 543 times. |
