This DC-9 started with Air Canada as CF-TLN (in service 1967 - 1982). The last of four Air Canada DC-9s bought by Altair Airlines, it was not delivered before Altair ceased operations. Sold to PSA in June 1983, it would become N707PS. Continuing with US Air after the two carriers merged in 1988, it became N916VJ.
