Delivered to BOAC as a Hermes IV in March 1950, converted to a Hermes IVA and sold to Skyways of London in July 1955. Damaged beyond repair when the starboard undercarriage collapsed on rollout while landing at London Airport on 8th March 1960. Subsequently scrapped. This photo was added on 11 July 2023, and has since been viewed 457 times. |
