Ca.1956: TOS USAF; this plane spent its entire career as a test bed at the Wright Air Development Center, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. It was redesignated as JRB-47E, then as NRB-47E. Ca.1963 Loaned to the Confederate Air Force for display at Harlingen, TX. 1986: CAF moved to Midland, TX, so the USAF retrieved their display planes and this one was transferred to the Tinker AFB, OK air park.
