Delivered to the Air Force as 45-1108 after the end of World War II, this C-47 was sold via the Construction Refinance Corp in 1946 to Columbia Broadcasting System (N54542). To Outboard & Marine Manufacturing in 1953 (later Outboard Marine) and re-registered N80M in 1964. Owned by the EAA Aviation Foundation 1978 - 84 reverting to N54542. A flurry of owners and registrations from 1984 (N1944H and N33611), the aircraft last wore Pan American World Airways livery from 2013 .
