This HOK-1 was built in 1953 and spent its days assigned to the Kaman Flight Test Department. It was acquired by the NEAM in 1964 and plaved on display, before being stored and earmarked for future restoration. This was substantially delayed when a devastating tornado struck the museum causing the loss of many exhibits. The project was restarted in 2018 and completed in 2022.
