Delivered to the Royal Canadian Air Force as 9416 in October 1960. Sold in June 1982 to Newcal Aviation and stored for several years before sale to 40 Mile Air of Tok, Alaska. Briefly registered as C-FAXD in early 1988 for maintenance/certification purposes. Re-engined with PZL1000 engine and continued to operate with 40 Mile air until sold to Alaska Air Taxi in October 2003. Sold to Katmai Air Leasing in April 2008 and converted to a 'Texas Turbine' Otter with a Series 12 Garret TPE331 before being leased back to Alaska Airways until December 2019, when it joined the Katmai Air fleet.
