This An-2 was originally delivered to Repülögépes Nov-ll as HA-MHL in 1971 and transferred to MÉM Rep. Szolgálat in December 1974. After retirement it was preserved on the roof of the Frankfurt airport visitors' terrace from September 1987 but moved to the Butzweilerhof museum in 1995 and then to the museum in Merseburg. After the sad demise of the latter, the plane has found a new home at the Oldtimer Hotel in Saalfeld. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
