Delivered new to KLM in 1953 as PJ-CVB/PH-CGK and here just acquired by Eastern Canada Stevedoring Co. Ltd. and likely on delivery to Canada where it would have been used to fly maritime personnel from port to port. Strangely it was replaced by a CV240 with the same registration in 1964. This airframe was converted to CV580 and spent many years flying freight in Europe as OO-DHD and EC-GKH. This photo was added on 3 November 2023, and has since been viewed 803 times. |
