Delivered new to KLM in 1953 as PJ-CVB/PH-CGK and here just acquired by Eastern Canada Stevedoring Co. Ltd. and likely on delivery to Canada where it would have been used to fly maritime personnel from port to port. Strangely it was replaced by a CV240 with the same registration in 1964. This airframe was converted to CV580 and spent many years flying freight in Europe as OO-DHD and EC-GKH.

Ex Summit Airlines N536SA, registered 26th Oct 1987 and became EC-GKH 12th Nov 1996.

The only DHL Convair painted in the dark red shade colours.
