In its original colours taking off on runway 10R at Heathrow. TWA started using Tristars to Heathrow in the summer of 1978. Delivered in 1975 as a series 1 and modifiied to a series 100 for long haul operations in 1978. It remained in service with them until 1996 when it was damaged in an accident at New York-JFK and was scrapped at Kingman in 1999.
