"Clipper Wild Duck" with Pan Am from delivery on May 27, 1981, this L1011 was registered to United Airlines in February 1986. United bought Pan Am's Pacific division in April 1985 and some L1011-500s and 747SPs were transferred along with the routes. Delta Airlines would add it to their L1011 fleet in June 1988.
