VH-CAR was delivered to the Department of Civil Aviation in late 1970 and was based in Papua New Guinea. It was transferred to that country's register as P2-CAR on independence. VH-CAR returned to Australia in 1981 for a private buyer. It crashed into the sea off Cairns, Queensland, on November 3, 1996.
