August 1961: TOS USAF and assigned to 4042nd Strategic Wing, K. I. Sawyer AFB, MI. Feb 1963: Unit redesignated as the 410th Bomb Wing (Heavy). By 2010: 20th Bomb Squadron/2nd Bomb Wing, Barksdale AFB, LA. 21 June 2011: Flew over Cedar Rapids, IA, as part of a Memorial service for a WWII MIA USAAF B-17 crew member whose remains were found in Hungary.
