FFD has a very long runway and it is expensive to deploy the braking chute, therefore, XH558 can safely use only her airbrakes to slow down before vacating rw09 at the end. RIAT 2012 had a high quality flying display this year but 'the Spirit of Great Britain' was still one of the highlights. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
