After having spent about 25 years on outdoor display in slowly deteriorating condition, this Convair was moved indoors for restoration in May 2021. The result of this restoration can be seen in this photo. The right outer wing and nosegear doors were present in a nearby hangar and still had to be attached. Click on the registration or c/n to see the timeline for this aircraft. Note that during the restoration the aircraft's name was removed from the nose.
