After having spent about 25 years on outdoor display in slowly deteriorating condition, this Convair was moved indoors for restoration in May 2021. The result of this restoration can be seen in this photo. The right outer wing and nosegear doors were present in a nearby hangar and still had to be attached. Delivered as LV-ADO in 1949 and acquired by Líneas Aéreas Paraguayas in 1962. Withdrawn from use by 1972 and stored at Asunción. Placed on display as seen here circa 1997, but looking much worse now than nine years earlier.
