Delivered new to World Airways as N749WA on 10 Jun 1974 and leased the next day to Korean Air Lines. Later leased to Braniff, Viasa, Lufthansa, and American Airlines. To Flying Tigers on 10 Oct 1984. To Evergreen International on 15 May 1987 and reregistered to N470EV on 31 Dec 1989. Leased to Southern Air Transport on 01 Jul 1994. Returned to Evergreen by 24 Sep 1995. Stored at MZJ 23 Apr 2002. Converted to a water bomber May 2004. Noted in service at CTS titled Evergreen Super Tanker on 16 Nov 2006. Noted stored at MZJ 27 Jan 2013 without engines.
