Operated by San Diego based Jim's Air Aviation. Built in 1945 as a C-47B serial 45-0940 and delivered to the USAF on 18 Jul 1945. Later converted to a VC-47D. To the US civil register as N17778 in Aug 1972. Reregistered to N403JB on 07 Apr 1977. She has gone through a number of operators with this registration. To N575PT on 13 Sep 2021 registered to Preferred Airparts Llc. Registration still current in Dec 2023.
