To the US civil register as N17778 in Aug 1972. Reregistered to N403JB on 07 Apr 1977. She has gone through a number of operators with this registration. To N575PT on 13 Sep 2021 registered to Preferred Airparts Llc. Registration still current in Dec 2023.

Delivered to the USAF as 45-940 just weeks before the end of World War II, this C-47 was retired in 1968 and stored at Davis Monthan. Registered to Desert Air Parts (N17778) in 1973, it worked for several air carriers and private owners (as N403JB after October 1980) with Catalina Flying Boats the last operator 1994 - 2017. The aircraft has been registered to Preferred Airparts since 2017 as N575PT.
