Delivered to Air Canada on May 17, 1972, C-FTMV made it's last revenue flight with the airline January 13, 2002. It was ferried to Mojave, CA the following month as the remaining DC-9s were retired from Air Canada. Bought by Jet Midwest Group in early 2007, the aircraft was sold to Global Aviation Investments for use in South Africa.
