Former "Clipper Splendid" with Pan American World Airways 1959 - 70 as N721PA, Dan Air acquired this 707 in 1971. Later leased to British Airways and British Airtours 1978 - 79, it was meant to be registered N80703 for a lease in Miami, FL at the end of 1979 that did not happen.
