Delivered to the US Navy on 17 August. Following service with VF-14 it was moved to Grumman St. Augustine for a retrofit to F-14B and was then assigned to VF-101, VF-143 (AG-104 and AG-112), VF-213 (NH-104), VF-143 (AG-102 and AG-101), VF-102 (AB-104), VF-101 (AD-104), VF-32 (AC-102) VF-101 (AD-114) before it was stored at AMARC with inventory code 1K0147 on 17 June 2004.
