Serial 271 is a Aero Vodochody built CS-102/MiG-15UTI of Polish AF. Delivered '54, converted SBLim-2, reserialled 2271. To Evergreen Ventures as N271JM in '88. 11 Apr'88 rr to NX271JM as MiG-15UTI, but kept N271JM. Planned for use with the Defense Test & Evaluation Agency, Kirtland AFB (NM). Was used in the 1988 movie "Steal the Sky" in this Iraqi AF c/s. On 6 Nov'96 crashlanded at Fallon MAP (NV) in a soft dirt field, 200 ft short of threshold. Restored and preserved at Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum (OR). Restored for flight but canx in '11.
