This aircraft was ordered by the British Government for supply to EATS in South Africa or Southern Rhodesia but was not delivered and was retained for the RAAF as A17-710 due Japan's entry into the war. Sold to Royal Aero Club of NSW, Bankstown, 18.5.56 as VH-RSC. Re-registered VH-BBC by Narrabri Aero Club in August 1959.
