Six TA-4Js were operated by VC-8 from NAS Roosevelt Roads in 1998 and these were among the last operational US Navy Skyhawks, supporting missions over the vast off-shore exercise areas. 153526 was last noted preserved at one of the gates of Davis Monthan AFB (AZ).
