Built 1986, this BK-117 was imported into Canada in 1987. Frontier Helicopters operated it November 1990 to August 1991, before Corporate Helicopters (May 1992) and ALC Airlift operated for STARS (Shock Trauma Air Rescue Society) July 92 to December 1993. American Eurocopter (N12851) leases to CC-CSW, PT-HZM, XA-TRF. Sold to Germany in 2005 as D-HSMA for ADAC Luftrettung, the helicopter has been in South Africa as ZT-RLA with Halo Aviation since 2015.
