The Fresco-C was the basic fighter version powered by a VK-1F engine with afterburner. In total 1,685 were built and this example, previously on display here with the fake serial 28, has recently been refurbished and is part of this very interesting museum detailing Bulgaria's military history in the centre of Sofia.
