The MiG-23UB was an upgraded trainer variant of the MiG-23U and made its maiden flight on 10 April 1970. Production continued until 1985 for export customers and in total more than 1,000 MiG-23UBs were built. This Bulgarian example is on display at this museum in the centre of Sofia.
