7 May 43: TOS USAAF as UC-43 43-10852; assigned to Langley Army Air Field, VA. Served also at Love Field, Dallas, TX, and Cincinnati Field, OH. 2 Apr 45: RFC for sale. 1946: Registered NC53298, went through several owners. 12/68: Richard L. Perry, Hampshire, IL. 1969 to current, at least three other owners. 1974: Rebuilt. Photo taken from a Beech E18S, about 40 miles WNW of Chicago.
