This Yak-40 was originally delivered to ČSA in October 1974 as OK-EEA. It went to VZLÚ (the Czechoslovak Research and Experimental Aviation Institute) in July 1980 and later became OK-020 to be rebuilt as a flying engine test-bed. The plane was briefly also registered OK-EXB for a return ferry flight to Minsk for overhaul, reverting to OK-020 upon its return. It last flew in April 1992 and was initailly used for the ground testing of instruments but moved in April 2012 to Louny and is now preserved in the grounds of SEKO Aerospace.
