Originally built in 1962 for the Royal Federation of Malaya Air Force, later Royal Malaysian Air Force, with the serial FM1066. Given the civil registration 9M-ART in 1972 for ferrying to Australia and conversion to an agricultural aircraft. However, put in storage until registered VH-EVB on 7 January 1982. Restored in 1987 and used for joy flights for about a decade. Several changes of ownership and a long restoration later, it was re-registered VH-SYS(3) on 15 March 2017. Currently potentially airworthy but in outdoor storage at the Historical Aircraft Restoration Society.
