From the Beech T-34 Mentor, Fuji developed the four-seat LM-1 and LM-2 Nikko four-seat liaison aircraft, the KM civilian four-seater and the KM-2 military trainer with two seats side by side. The KM was used by the Civil Aviation College but we gather there were only two four-seat KMs: one XKM and one KM-1. JA3122 registered to the school on 3 March 1959. Destroyed in crash on take-off from Miyazaki on 4 September 1963. Photo from: San Diego Air & Space Museum This photo was added on 21 March 2024, and has since been viewed 157 times. |
