Delivered to the original Frontier Airlines December 5, 1969, this 737 would go to Continental Airlines with the merger of the two carriers in 1986. Re-registered N16254 in 1994, the airliner was sold in 1996 to a leasing company, but was damaged beyond repair during a 1998 hurricane while stored at Miami, FL.
