This aircraft served with the RAF as KN597, later with the West German Air Force, and civilianised in 1968 as N10801. Intended for the Biafran Air Force it remained stored at Faro, Portugal, until flown to the USA in 1978 and noted active with large Air Cargo American titles at Miami and San Juan, PR., in 1980. After storage at Homestead it was acquired by the El Salvador Air Force, (FA Salvadorena), and converted to turboprop power, becoming Basler BT-67 c/n 4 serial 118. It was withdrawn from use at San Salvador Ilopango Airport in 2010, and last reported derelict there in February 2019.
