The TSR-2 exemplifies one of the saddest episodes in the long history of British aviation, leading to this famous quote from renowned aircraft designer Sir Sydney Camm "All modern aircraft have four dimensions: span, length, height and politics. TSR-2 simply got the first three right." This aircraft never actually flew, rather had almost been completed when the programme was cancelled. One of the absolute highlights of the wonderful RAF museum at Cosford. This photo is copyright © Alastair T. Gardiner, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
