Delivered as PNC-153, this Bell 212 was one of the helicopters used in the assault on the Palace of Justice in Bogota in November 1985 after it was occupied by M-19 guerrillas. It was reserialled to PNC-183 and damaged on 10 October 1997 when two crew members were killed. By July 2004 it had been reserialled to PNC-0483 and had received this tactical colour.
