Parked with a number of other aircraft at Fort Wainwright, all supporting firefighting operations during the 1990 Alaska summer wildfire season. Entered service with the USAAF in 1944 as a C-47A-5DK, 42-92550. Joined the RAF as KG354. Transferred to the RCAF in 1946, becoming 12916 with the Canadian Armed Forces in 1970. By 1978 joined Basler Air Services as N59314, moving to Fairbanks, Alaska, with Frontier Flying Service in 1982. This photo is copyright © David A.
