FMS serial 72-1239 first flew on 25 July 1976 and was delivered to Germany on 21 August 1976. It was assigned to JBG36 up to late 1990, and flew later with JG72 up to July 1993, JG71, JG72 up to April 1998, JG74 up to June 2008 (as pictured), was on load to the Luftwaffe test unbit WDT 61 in mid-2002 and returned to JG71 up to October 2012.
