Pictured during a squadron rotation with Jagdgeschwader 74 (JG 74) at Neuburg. This MiG-21MF blasts away from the Neuburg runway with its spectacular afterburner. The FISHBED was assigned to 4 ZTL 42 slt. The aircraft was delivered to the Czechoslovak AF on 17 Septembet 1975. It became a Czech aircraft in the 1993. The MF was converted to MFN in 2000 and retired in late 2005. The aircraft was scrapped soon after, except the nose section. That part went to Letnany museum in 2020.

A white Transall, the aircraft started to serve the Luftwaffe in 1976 and was eventually retired forty years later in September 2016. It was first stored at Landsberg and its current whereabouts are unknown (to me).

McDonnell Douglas built, and FMS serial 72-1171 first flew on 20 May 1974 and was delivered to the Luftwaffe on 20 June 1974 as 37+61 with JG 71. The F-4F then served JBG36 and later JG 74 (as pictured) is seen here while rocketing with full afterburners into the German skies. The Phantom II was retired in December 2006 and stored at Neuburg. It is preserved at the Wilhelm-Frankl-Kaserne (Germany) since April 2021.
