The US Army took 65-10074 on strength as a UH-1D in August 1966. It served in Vietnam, Thailand, Germany and the USA all in it's first ten years while active. Converted to an UH-1H during that time as well, the helicopter was acquired by the Kenosha Military Museum circa 1994. The museum's land was expropriated in 2007 and it moved to Russell, Indiana and was renamed the Russell Military Museum.
