Wardair Canada first leased this GECAS owned Airbus in August 1988. After the airline was purchased by Canadian Airlines in 1989, A310s received additional Canadian titles. Returned to the lessor after operations merged with Canadian Airlines, the aircraft was leased to Kuwait Airlines (A6-KUD) in September 1991. Later leases to Middle East Airlines , Air India and Jordan Aviation (including a sub lease to Ariana Afghan Airlines) followed until it was stored at Khartoum International Airport circa 2014 registered JY-JAH.
