Brazil took over a few Impalas from South Africa when their own version of the MB326, the Xavante, was already in the twilight of its career. Interestingly, the single seat MB326K, or Impala 2, was also included in the deal, this version had never been operated by the Brazilian air force before. After its second retirement, 4634 found its way to the MUSAL in Rio de Janeiro. The single seater received the Brazilian air force designation AT-26A, whereas the two-seater is called AT-26.
