Delivered originally to Transport Canada in 1981, C-GBEY was one of two Challengers for VIP transport for the federal government. It was transferred to the Air Force in March 1986 as 144605. The Challenger was designated to be converted to a CP-144A Maritime Surveillance aircraft, but that program was cancelled and the aircraft stored. Sold to the USA in February 2001 as N380V and an executive interior was installed. Last registered N604SH cancelled in 2018.
