A Convair 440 when delivered to Continental Airlines (N90861) in February 1956. Ford Motor Company acquired the aircraft in June 1959 and upgraded it to a CV580. Pictured in Louisville visiting the nearby assembly plant opened in 1969, it was in the the Fordair fleet until sold to the IFL Group in December 1994 to fly freight. Flying with subsidiary Contract Air Cargo (Gulf & Caribbean Air) after 2005), the aircraft is still registered to IFL Group at the time of uploading, but hasn't flown for a while.
